Kundalini House LifeNow Yoga

LifeNow Yoga focuses on the ancient art of unifying the whole being.

Through asana, the body is made strong and flexible.  Through pranayama the mind and emotions are balanced, through meditation the thoughts are quietened and through self enquiry, the authentic self is located and strengthened.

These classes are suitable for beginners to advanced and are kept small to ensure personal attention.

Classes run in term blocks so for your first complimentary class please call or email the contact below.

Belinda Reddy BIO
Belinda has been practising yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2001. Her inspiration and calling to teach yoga started as a desire to help create space in peoples lives in which they can explore peace and access their authentic self, whilst keeping their body and mind active and healthy.

With a background as a professional dancer since the age of 15 she knows the need for flexibility and physical health is paramount and that overdoing it and pushing the body too much can lead to injury and frustration.

Belinda also holds a diploma in Transpersonal Counselling and has spent the last fourteen years exploring and researching a natural curiosity of a wide range of spiritual disciplines and healing techniques, including yogic, Buddhism, and traditional shamanism.

In addition to yoga and Transpersonal Counselling, Belinda also offers private yoga tuition in your home and holds regular retreats and workshops within the field of yoga and authentic self-awareness, dream groups and women's circles.

Life Now Hatha Yoga Description
These classes work on strengthening the body and increasing flexibility. The postures are at times strong and challenging but alternative poses are always offered for those who are injured, older or had a taxing week!

Life Now hatha yoga recognises that the physical benefits of yoga are great and valuable and when coupled with the deeper practice of this ancient art create an overall sense of self and wellbeing.

If you have found the happiness offered by external acquisitions is fleeting and you are in search of lasting fulfilment, you will find that these classes offer a way to finding true contentment by training the mind, through the use of asana's to access a new way of moving through life.

With a holistic approach we also focus on relieving stress and tension and we recognise that tension is not our natural state, it is something that we pick up in life along the way. Therefore it cannot be released through pushing, or thinking, it can only be 'let go of'.

By applying yogic philosophy to the practices and by learning not to push, to be present and aware regardless of the awkwardness, the inner conflict is healed and a sense of true peace can be found in a lasting way that can be taken from the mat into your everyday life.
