Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese Herbal Medicine has been used successfully for thousands of years. It has been used separately and alongside Acupuncture to enhance their clinical effects and can be used to treat a wide range of health conditions. The theory behind Chinese Herbal Medicine has been based on ancient clinical results and more recently clinical laboratory research.

What is Chinese Herbal Medicine?
Chinese Herbal Medicine consists of hundreds of individual herbs that each have their own properties and actions. These herbs are compiled together to make up many different formulas that can treat many and varied health conditions.

How will this help me?
Each formula that is prescribed by your practitioner is individually formulated to address your specific health condition. This means that each formula that is prescribed for you has been done so with careful consideration of your presenting condition. These conditions range from but are not limited to the following:

Colds/Flu
Immune related conditions
Stress/Anxiety
Fatigue
Gynaecological conditions
IVF support
Gastrointestinal conditions
Headache
Arthritis
Sleep disorders

How do I take the Herbs?
Kundalini House uses top quality powdered herbs which have been concentrated from raw herbs and are very powerful in their actions. Generally the herbs are taken with some warm water morning and night for a given amount of time. We use powdered herbs as we know that you are very busy and boiling up raw herbs can be quite time consuming. We also offer herbs which are compressed into little black pills which are also effective and for your convenience.

How long do I need to take the Herbs?
The time that you will need to take the herbs for will vary between individuals. Generally the longer that you have had a certain condition the longer that you will have to take the herbs. For example, if you have had a condition for 1 year then you may have to take the herbs for a month. This is a general rule and will be variable depending on your response to treatment.
